Zachary Ryan Birkholz

Zachary Ryan Birkholz was born in Kissimmee, Florida on June 23, 2004. He was a freshman at Harlem High School and participated in many activities. One of his favorite activities was the up-coming Powder Puff game where he would be cheering on girls playing football. In the past Zachary was involved in wrestling, volleyball, and baseball. His absolute most favorite thing besides doing back flips and playing Fortnite was his incredible passion for music and playing the piano. He enjoyed teaching himself both classical and current age songs. Zachary passed away on September 16, 2018 at OSF St. Anthony’s in Rockford, Illinois and was survived by his mother, Laura, His Step-Father, Jonathan and his siblings, Kaitlynn, Lincoln, Haile, Liam, and Anthony; his Father, Ryan, Step-Mother, Alicia; his grandparents, Lorena and Todd (maternal) and Tainia and Robert (paternal) . He had a huge extended family that loved him and he will always be remembered by his contagious laugh and beautiful smile. He will be truly missed by his family and friends but never forgotten.
Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
