Willo Dee "Granny" Brazel

Willo Dee “Granny” Brazel, 91, Rockford, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born November 23, 1928, in Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Thelma (Edwards) Brazel. Willo worked for many Rockford area companies including Amerock, National Lock and Weyerhaeuser. She enjoyed country music especially Conway Twitty. Special thanks to Sonia.
Survived by her children, Janis “Jan” Rowland, Linda Wicker, and Steve “Knappy” Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother Bill (Jenna) Brazel; her sister, Jenny Jarrett; nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her daughter, Connie, and 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd with Reverend Dean Parker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Fri at the funeral home. A luncheon will be held at the Eagles Club, 3829 11th St. from 12:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M.
