William Vesely

William A. Vesely, 57, Rockford, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, May 31, 2013. He was born in Rockford on August 3, 1955; the son of James F. and Joan A. (White) Vesely. Bill graduated from Boylan Catholic High School class of 1973. He married Cynthia Brechon on July 7, 1979. He worked as journeyman electrician for IBEW local 364 for over 30 years where he served as an officer on the executive board for over 20 years. During his career Bill was a mentor to many apprentices and gained lifelong friendships with his fellow brothers. Bill enjoyed fishing and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was a friend of Bill W and a friend to countless others. Bill was a loving husband, son, uncle, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law and godfather. Bill loved his family and his dogs, Josie and B; he will be missed by all who loved him. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Cynthia; brothers, Michael (Juliette) Vesely and Steven (Brenda) Vesely; sister, Becky (James Wilson) Vesely; brothers-in-law, Michael (Kathy) Brechon, Marc (Tammy) Brechon, Jeff (Mary) Brechon, Scot (Jami) Brechon and Mitch (Lisa) Brechon; mother-in-law, Louise Brechon; numerous special nieces and nephews and great -nieces and great- nephews. Predeceased by his parents; special son, Joshua and father-in-law, Frank Brechon. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of choice .
