William G. Campbell

WILLIAM G. CAMPBELL, 84 William G. Campbell, 84, of Rockford, died at 8:30 pm, Saturday, August 18, 2007 in P.A. Peterson Center for Health. Born October 1, 1922 in Freeport, IL, the son of Gregory and Eunice (Kendall) Campbell. He married Beatrice Heinemann in Teaneck, NJ, on March 4, 1950. Formerly employed as a director with Ingersoll Engineering Company, and previously with Barber Coleman for over 30 years as a machine tool designer. William is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beatrice; daughter, Brenna Campbell of Kennesaw, GA; son, Alan (Jeanne) Campbell of Mission Viejo, CA; granddaughters, Katelyn and Sara Campbell; and brother, Patrick (Marne) Campbell of Rockton, IL. Predeceased by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave, with Rev. Dr. Charles V. Olson officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boarder Collie Rescue, 16051 E. FM 1097, Willis, TX, 77378. To
