William Blaine Cronk, 70, a resident of Cherry Valley for 20 years, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2008 in his home surrounded by his family. William was born March 8, 1938 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin the son of Keith and Mary (Barrett) Cronk. William married Mary Jo Fierek on May 7, 1957 at St. Michael Church in Wausau, Wisconsin. William was a US Army Veteran. He attained Degrees in Business Management and Psychology and worked for Catalina Manufacturing Company in Whittier, California and Royal Knitting Mill in Chicago as Plant Manager for 30 years. William was a member of St. Rita Church. He loved gardening, reading, Nascar and was very passionate and had a great love for animals. William is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; his two daughters, Christine Cronk and Susan (Robert) Cronk Jensen; his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth and Robert William Jensen; his brothers, Keith (Joyce), Alan (Judy) and Michael (Sandy) Cronk; his sister, Lorraine Anderson and many nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert "Butch" Cronk. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1 pm at St. Rita Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive with visitation from 12 pm until time of Mass.
