William B. Turman

William B. Turman 65 of Rockford passed away Wednesday December 2, 2009 in Swedish American after a Short illness.  He was born January 27, 1944 in Sulligent, AL.  Son of Early Artis and Lillian (Myers)Turman.  He married Barbara Wheeler in Rockford on March 30, 1991.  He worked for National Lock for many years and the US Post Office, retiring in 2004.  Member of St Stanislaus Church. Survivors include his wife Barbara, Children; Russell (Christina) Turman of Rockford, Larry Wheeler of Rockford, Billy (Debbie) Wheeler of AZ and Barbara Vannetter of Rockford.  Ten Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Sister-in-laws; Dorothy Turman and Frances Turman.  Predeceased by his parents, First wife; Janie Turman 1999, Daughter; Janice Dufoe, Sister; Paulene Comer Brothers; Buster and Early. Mass of Resurrection at 11:00am Monday December 7, 2009 in St Stanislaus Church with Father Peter Sarnicki officiating.  Burial in New Milford Cemetery.  Visitation on Sunday December 6, 2009 from 5-7pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory 1860 S.
