Wha Sik Bayston

Wha Sik Bayston, 71, of Loves Park, IL passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends.

Wha was born May 3, 1947, in Inchon, South Korea, the daughter of Soung Choi and Duck (Moon) Choi. She married the love of her life, Gary Bayston, July 18, 1987 at the Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton, IL. Wha was a member of various Korean Christian Churches and attended Westminster Presbyterian with her husband, Gary. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, time with friends and family, and her beloved dogs. Wha will forever be in the hearts of those she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Tony (Deanna) Bai, Heather (James) Schmidt and Eric (Anna) Bayston; grandchildren, Ashley Beach, Christian and Chloe Bai, Hayden, Brayden and Tristan Schmidt and Vicki Ruhl; great grandchildren, Owen and Audrey Ruhl; sister, Young Ja (Chun) Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diane Bloomfield; brother, Young Sik Choi.

To honor Wha Bayston and the wishes of her family, no public services will be held. Cremation rites will be accorded. Friends and family wishing to pay their respects may stop by the Bayston home from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018.
