Wesley A. Straley

Wesley A. Straley, 75, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born November 20, 1940, in Rockford, the son of Roy and Jeanette (Gregg) Straley. Graduate of West High. Wes married Colleen Lawrence on September 2, 1960 in Rockford. He worked at Chrysler for 36 years retiring as a tool attendant. Wes loved bowling and fishing. He was a member of the Eagles Club. The Straley Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care.
Lovingly survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Sheila Straley, Kimberly (William) Bonzi, Pamela (Keith) O’Neal and Scott (Julie) Straley; grandchildren, Crystal, Katy, Loretta, Tabitha, William, Kelly, Ashley and Nathan; several great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Straley and sister, Shirley (Dallas) West. Predeceased by his parents.
