Warren Duff

Warren Duff, 70, of Rockford, passed away at 4:10p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007, in his home. Born October 9, 1937 in Maynard, AK; son of Andrew Duff and Alma Crowell. Married Coleena M. DeMack in Hernando, Miss on May 12, 1957. Warren worked for J.L. Clark and later at National Lock for 20 years. He retired in 2000 from K-Mart. He loved to play bingo and enjoyed going to the gambling boats. Warren truly loved spending time with his family, especially his great-granddaughter, Payton. Survivors include his wife, Coleena; son, Howard (Tracy) Duff; daughter, Teresa (Gary) Peterson; grandchildren, Jessica (Brad) Smalley, Amanda (Shaun) Rogers and Stephanie Duff; great-granddaughter, Payton Taylor Rogers; brothers, A.J. (Mary) Duff and Garland (Ruth) Duff; sisters, Mabel Gould and Virginia Hampton and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Sebert, Niles and Rector Duff; sisters, Rosline McWilliams, Ruth Jenkins, Viola Duff and Iola Duff. Funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, ILnbsp; 61108 with Rev. Louis Herman of Woodside General Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 to 11am on Saturday at the funeral home.
