WANDA LEE DAWSON, 84, Rockford, died at 1:50P.M., Friday, March 16, 2007 in Amberwood Care Center.nbsp; Born June 8, 1922 in Walnut Ridge, ARK., daughter of Robert and Etta Wilson.nbsp; Married Elisha L. Dawson in Lauratown, ARK. in 1938.nbsp; She had been a member of the Virginia Avenue Church of God and also a volunteer for the Salvation Army.nbsp; Wanda was a loving, giving, pleasant woman.nbsp; She loved to travel and lived life to the fullest.nbsp; She was devoted to her family and did all she could for them.nbsp; nbsp; Survivors include her children, Yvonne (Russell) Fagan, Porterville, CA., Anna (Glenn) Thompson, Rockford, Wanda M. Dawson, Davis, David Dawson, Rockford. and Karen (Vernon) Hutchison, Davis; sisters, Maxine (James) Holt, CA and Betty (Carl) Rowell, Rockford; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her traveling buddy and sister-in-law, Vonna Wilson Richmond.nbsp; Predeceased by her husband in February, 1980, parents, son, Douglas Dawson; brothers, Carl Wilson and Robert Wilson; sister, Charlene Wilson and her nephew, David Dawson.nbsp; Her family would like to thank Unity Hospice for their care. nbsp; Funeral service at 11A.M. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev.
