Maurizi, 86, Rockford, died Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Emeritus of Rockford.Born May 28, 1925 in Arma, Kansas, son of Vincent L. and Ann (Gibson) Maurizi.Veteran of the US Navy, serving during WWII.Married Marian Anderberg on April 12, 1975.Retired from Essex Wire.Vincent'¢s favorite hobbies were landscaping and traveling on vacations.He also loved music and dancing. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Teresa Gray; 4 grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren; a sister; a brother; several nieces and nephews and sisters and brothersinlaw.Predeceased by his parents, a son, 2 brothers and 1 sister.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
