Vi Delaney

Viola “Vi” M. Delaney, 87, of Rockford died Monday, January 23, 2017 at Mercy Health Hospital. Born July 14, 1929 in Beloit, WI the daughter of Leslie and Edna R. (Weast) Delaney. She attended Beloit Memorial High School and worked for Barber-Colman as a Lead Lady, retiring in 1961 after 38 years of dedicated service. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Darwin and Lois Bradley; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend, Laura Schaller. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brothers John and Edward; brother, Glenard; sisters, Pearl, Fern and Betty and her loving K9 companions, Ruff and Buff. At Vi’s request all services are private. Burial will be held in Milton Lawns Memorial Park Cemetery, Janesville, WI. Donations in Vi’s name can be made to any animal shelter in Winnebago County.
