Vernon Clark

Vernon Clark 86 of Rockford passed away Monday March 30, 2015 in his home. He was born April 28, 1928 in Rockford, the son of Glen and Harriet Clark. He married Donna Freudenberger in Rockford on June 19, 1948 she predeceased him in 2012. He worked for Barber Coleman for 42 years. Vernon was a square dance caller with Ve-Ke-Rocs. He also enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was a former member of the Moose club.
Son; Patrick Clark of Loves Park, daughters, Susan Emmerling and Linda (Dan) Hunt, both of Rockford; grandchildren, Heather Connell, Gretchen (Michael) Branson, Sarah (Merrick) Parmele, Anna Hunt, Victoria Shearrow, and Cody Clark; great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Aurora, Pandora, Gabriellia, Lenore, and Elijah; greatgreatgrandchildren, Camrin.Caydin and Kaytlin. Brothers; Delmar (Ann) of Rockford and Robert (Nancy) of Roscoe. Special friend; Jimmy Birmingham. Predeceased by his parents. Wife Donna. Brother; Gene and sister-in-law Helen.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
