Vera Kolush Chevchuc

 Vera Kolush Chevchuc, 90, a life long resident of Rockford, died on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Alden Alma Nelson. Born December 29, 1917 in Latvia. Worked over 20 years for Amerock as an Assembler.  Former member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and attended St. Marys Guild. Survivors include son, Valentine John (Carol) Chevchuc of Rockford; grandchildren, John (Deanna) Chevchuc of S. Beloit, Shawn Chevchuc of Rockford, Michael (Wendy) Straus of Streamwood ,Mark (Allison) Strauss of Paletine and Nancee (John) Beal of East Troy, WI; great grandchildren, Nathan and Nichole Chevchuc of South Beloit and Lindsay and Michelle Beavers of WI. Preceded in death by her parents; son,  Boris Chevchuc and several brothers and sisters.   Funeral services to be held Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel  1860 S. Mulford Rd. with The Rev. Judy Hipple officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 12:00- 12:45 on Thursday. Please make memorials to a charity of ones choice.
