Uriah Ryan Rux

Beloved Son, Grandson, Nephew and Bass Player

Uriah Ryan Rux, 29, of Rockford, left us too soon on Monday, December 14, 2015. He was born in Rockford on September 16, 1986; to parents Darwin Rux and Laura Evans Lockett. Uriah graduated from Auburn High School in 2005. He was an avid reader, and an intelligent guy who has always had a deep passion for music. His laughter was contagious, he loved the bass guitar, Halloween, and going to shows with his buddies. His family, friends, and bandmates, will miss him always.

Uriah is survived by his parents, Darwin Rux and Laura (Robert) Evans Lockett; grandparents, Darrell (Margaret) Rippon; special aunt, Vienna Aaby, and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and special friends.

He is predeceased by paternal grandparents, Gerald Rux and Inez Rux Rippon; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Helen Evans.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 19, 2015; at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL, 61103, with burial following immediately at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Funeral Home; and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday.
