Tristan Joshua Clay

Tristan Joshua Clay, 25, of Rockford, passed away July 3, 2022. Born May 22, 1997, in Rockford, IL. The son of Angela Strait nee Barton and Bruce Clay, Jr. Growing up in Rockford, he attended Rockford East High School. Tristan worked for Advance Auto Parts, which was a perfect job, because of his love of cars. Especially exotic cars. Tristan was a loving caring young man. He enjoyed cars, rock music and swords. He had an artistic ability and sketched many drawings. He was a fan of anime, but most of all he loved his family and friends.

Survivors include parents, Angela (Troy) Strait, Bruce Clay, Jr; brother, Bailey Clay; sisters, Laura and Laney Clay; grandparents, Amy Rasch and John Barton, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by maternal grandfather, Amil Rasch and paternal grandparents, Bruce and Donna Clay.

Celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Maynard officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Share online condolences and memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
