Tonia D. Glovier

Tonia D. Glovier, 48, of Rockford, went home to her Lord and Savior, Friday, August 28, 2015. She was born in Rockford on July 25, 1967; to parents Bill and Barbara Glovier. Tonia was a graduate of East High School in 1985, and worked as Manager at Chuck E. Cheese for many years. Tonia will always be remembered as a loving mother; who enjoyed life, loved her friends, and was a very likeable person. Tonia was loved dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
Tonia is survived by her sons, Skyler and Robert Glovier; grandson, Zachary Savage; parents, Bill and Barbara Glovier; brother, Gary (Sally) Glovier; sister, Robin Glovier; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Tonia’s family would like to say “Thank You” to Nurse Amy at Amberwood, and to North Illinois Hospice; for their loving kindness they showed to Tonia and their family.
Funeral service will be 12 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2015; at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL, 61108; with Pastor Kirby Miracle officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tonia’s Family or to Northern Illinois Hospice. Funeral arrangements have been cared for by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel.
