Toni Helen Sparacino

Toni Helen Sparacino, 64 was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 16, 2016 after a short bout with cancer.
A life long resident of Rockford, Toni was the owner of LaserCare, Inc. for almost eighteen years. Prior to that, she was a medical transcriptionist for Swedish American Hospital for 20 years. Through good times and bad, she always remained a loyal Chicago Bears fan.
She was an animal lover all of her life and will surely be greeted on the Rainbow bridge by her many furry friends. Toni also served as animal advocate and President of the animal rescue group Fresh Start in Belvidere.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Taytumn and Mason, as well as being a loving aunt and friend to her many nieces and nephews. Toni was a 1970 graduate of Boylan High School and attended Edgewood College in Madison, WI. She attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Sparacino (Kelsey) grandchildren, Taytumn and Mason Sparacino all of Rockford, sister Rosemary Schulz (Donald) of Beaver Dam, Wi. brother John Sparacino of Padre Island, Tx. Sister Dolores Peila (Chuck) of Rockford and brother Charles K. Brackett (Patricia) Rockford.
Predeceased by parents Anthony (AJ) and Molly Sparacino and brother Peter J. Brackett.

Funeral Mass at 11am Saturday November 19, 2016 in St Anthony Catholic Church 1010 Ferguson Street Rockford with the Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation from 5pm until 7pm Friday in Fitzgerald Funeral home 1860 S. Mulford Road with rosary at 6:45. Visitation also from 10am until 10:45 Saturday in the church.
