Todd Winfield Jackson, 51, Rockford, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, after sustaining fatal injuries from an accident. He was born January 14, 1962, in Rockford, the son of Charles and Jill Jackson. Todd graduated from Rockford Guilford High School and participated in comedy courses at Second City in Chicago. He served 4 years in the Navy travelling around the world on the USS New Orleans. Todd was a Deputy Clerk and the Winnebago County Circuit Clerk’s Office. He had a knack for making others laugh and lighting up the room. Todd was an avid Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks fan. He loved music and the theatre arts. Special thanks to the Rockford Police Department, Crime Stoppers, and the Winnebago County Coroner’s office for their professionalism, kindness, and support. Todd leaves behind to cherish his memories his parents, Charles and Jill; his brother, Mike (Rita) Jackson; his sister, Lisa (Brad) Nemeth; his nieces, Rachel, Jillian, and Anjeli; and his nephew, Nicholas; his aunts and uncles, Ruth Jackson, Mark Teismann, Diane Tegland, Ed Tegland, Jeff and Sharon Fritzlen, Joanne and Larry Longman and special friend, Colleen Quinn. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2013, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural St. with Reverend Jeffrey Fricke officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, October 7, 2013, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. and from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm on Tuesday at the church. There will be refreshments at the church immediately following the memorial service.
