Tina R. Fritts

Tina R. Fritts, 54, of Roscoe, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 24, 1961, in Belvidere, the daughter of Ray E. & Patricia M. (Etes) McCoy. Graduated from North Boone High School class of 1979. Later, she graduated from Rock Valley College with a nursing degree. She married her true love Martin Fritts on September 8, 1984. Tina worked as an RN for ATEP, VNA and VNA Hospice, Rockford Dermatology and Crusader Clinic during her career. She enjoyed reading, singing, traveling, musicals, the Oakland Raiders and the Chicago Cubs. Most of all she loved spending time with family, friends, and her walks at Roland Olson Forest Preserve. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
She is survived by husband, Martin; daughters, Hannah and Haley Fritts; parents Raymond McCoy and Patricia (Joel) Oman; brothers Jeff (Deb) and Jason (Mary) McCoy; sisters, Lesa (Steve) Fischer and Jody (Rob) Pitman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in -laws, and special God children.
The family would like to give a special thanks to friend Traci Melms, Northern Illinois Hospice, and many dear friends and family for all their loving care and support.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave, Loves Park, IL 61111. Visitation Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108 and from 9:30 until time of mass on Saturday at the church.
