Timothy "Tim" D. Marshall

Timothy “Tim” David Marshall, 62, Cherry Valley, Illinois, passed away at home on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Tim was born July 20, 1959, in Rockford, the son of William H. and Margaret E. (Leach) Marshall. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1977, and a veteran of the Army who served in Germany. Tim was a mail carrier for the United States postal service for 34 years until his retirement. On October 25, 2013, Tim married Lori Morgan. He enjoyed traveling, especially planning their trips, spending time with family, reading about history, and watching war movies. Tim was always kind to everyone he met and had a wonderful sense of humor. Tim was a loving and genuine friend to many.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his children, Lynzi (Kyle) Mummert, Kyli (Daniel) Rohrer, Andrew (Hailey) Frits and Alec Frits; his grandchildren, MacKenzie, MacKayla, and McKenna Mummert; his brothers, William Alan and Kenneth Jay Marshall. Predeceased by his parents and his brother, Kurt Douglas Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, January 14, 2022, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford with Reverend Ed Greenfield officiating.
