Roscoe—Timothy S. Van Horn, 50, of Roscoe died Friday, November 8, 2013 at home. Born January 5, 1963 in Freeport, IL to Lloyd and Nona (Johnson) Van Horn. Married Jackie Nethery on September 16, 1989 in Rockford . Worked as a pipefitter for GeoStar Mechanical. Member of Pipefitters Local 23, St. Bridget Catholic Church and the Venetian Club. Tim loved all outdoor activities especially fishing, snowmobiling and softball. And an Avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.

Survived by; Wife, Jackie; Daughter, Melissa; Mother, Nona; Sister, Michelle (Chris) Norman; Nieces, Nephews and numerous other family members and special friends. Predeceased by his Father Lloyd, Sister, Maria Anna; Grandparents Regina Johnson and Kenneth and Anna Van Horn.

Funeral Mass 10:30 am Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at St. Bridget Catholic Church with Msgr. Daniel Deutsch officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Riverside Chapel) 3910 N. Rockton, Ave with a Rosary service at 7. Visitation will continue Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:15 am at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Rockford Rescue Mission or a charity of one's choice.
