Timmy "Tim" L. Sikes

Timmy “Tim” L. Sikes, 51, of Rockford, IL passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. Tim was born December 8, 1970 in Rockford, IL the son to Charles and Diana (Wilson) Sikes. Tim attended Auburn High School graduating in 1989. He married the love of his life, Nikki Wills on November 27, 1993 after meeting at Spectrum Roller Skating Rink. They went on to have two daughters, Krystin and Tiffany. Tim worked at Chrysler Corp for the last nine years and construction prior. Tim always had a job to do and often that job was helping someone else. Tim was selfless in that regard, always giving to others. Tim was a devoted Chicago Bears and fan and loved Jim McMahon. He enjoyed boating and fishing and most recently working in his yard creating a fairy garden for his beloved granddaughters. Most of all, Tim loved just being with his family. He will forever be in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Nikki; daughters, Krystin (Cody) Schmidt and Tiffany (Brian Welch) Sikes; grandchildren, Natalie and Alexis Schmidt; mother, Diana Sikes; siblings, Tammy (Jose Alavardo) Guajardo, Tonya Vega-Garcia, Terry Sikes; mother and father-in-law, Arlene and Danny Wills; sister-in-law, Trisha (Kevin) Wicker; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father, Charles Sikes. The family would like to thank everyone for your love and support during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined.
