Tim Andrukaitis, 65, of Loves Park, died after a brief illness on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born November 14, 1951 in Rockford the son of Bernard F. and Grace (Putnam) Andrukaitis. Married his loving wife Ginger Graciana on May 21, 1977. Tim worked for many years in the management division at Hamilton-Sundstrand until his retirement in 2009. He was a Chicago Bears fan and loved yard work and walking his dog, but his true passion was planting and tending to his garden. He spent hours playing in the dirt making sure every plant was doing well and when harvest time came, Tim was so proud to share his crop with friends and family. He was a simple man, with a heart of gold who loved and cared for his family and those who surrounding him, he will be deeply missed. Survivors include his wife, Ginger of Loves Park; son, Paul of Rockford; grandchildren, Romani and Natalia; sister, Cindy (Norm) Dupon of CA. and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Mark Andrukaitis and his father/mother-in-law.
Funeral service Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Interment in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home and continues on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
