Thomas "Thom" M. Corirossi

Thom passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016, due to complications with pneumonia. Born May 11, 1951 in Rockford, the son of Michael Sr. and Angelina (Romano) Corirossi. He was employed as Safety Administrator at PCI Pharma Services. He truly lived for his family, friends and his dogs. He was an avid Cubs fan. His laughter and wonderful smile will truly be missed. Survivors include his wife Nancy, three children, Shaun, Tara and Jenna Corirossi. Four grandchildren Anthony and Violet Corirossi, Autumn and Zoey Higgins, Brother, Dominic Sr. Corirossi, many sister and brother-in-law’s, nephews and nieces. Special thanks to the ones who sat by Thom’s side during his time at the hospital. The family also wants to thank four special friends in Thom’s life, Steve Kudzma, Russell Stevens, Lisa Buck and Rob Harris.
A special thank you to Dr. M. Zeater and Dr. Tsaras and all the staff in the skilled critical care unit at Swedish American Heart Hospital. Thom’s family is very grateful for his excellent care. Predeceased by Parents and Brother Michael Corirossi Jr.
Cremation Rites have been recorded. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory LTD. 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL on Saturday, Novemeber 5, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorials to be established in Thom’s honor.
