Thomas A. Chiodini

Thomas A. Chiodini, 72, lifelong Rockford resident, died after a long battle with heart disease on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Provena St. Anne Center.nbsp; Born February 18, 1940, son of Paul A. and Mary K. (Notari) Chiodini.nbsp; Graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1958.nbsp; Married Rita I. Disch in the Cathedral of St. Peter on October 26, 1963.nbsp; Member of St. James Catholic Church.nbsp; He was coowner and president of Park Molded Specialities, retiring in 2005 after 48 years.nbsp; Tom loved his work there and always made it a high priority in his life.nbsp; He enjoyed working with electronics and loved anything electrical.nbsp; He also had a very special talent of growing, nurturing and arranging flowers.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; sons, Paul Chiodini, Kevin Chiodini, Mark (Claudia) Chiodini; grandchildren, Italia Tarara and Matteo Tarara; sister, Janet (Albert) Staehling; brothers, Michael (Coleen) Chiodini and Stephen (Marcia) Chiodini; sisterinlaw, Sister Teresa Disch, O.P.; brothersinlaw, Richard (Mary Ann) Disch and Robert (Connie) Disch and numerous nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents and aunts and uncles.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 in St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Dean Russell officiating.nbsp; Visitation from 57 p.m. Wednesday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m.nbsp; Visitation also from 1010:45 a.m. Thursday at the church.nbsp; Memorials may be made to Provena St. Anne Center, 4405 Highcrest Rd.
