Thadeus Tad Heinen

Thadeus L. Tad Tim Heinen 43 of Rockford passed away Saturday January 5, 2013 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after a fall on the ice.
He was born November 9, 1968 in Elgin, IL.
The son of Betty Matalin (Steven) Hermance, and Duane Heinen.
He attended Auburn Academy and Guilford High School.
He played football and sang with the Kantorei; and Auburn A Capella group.
His favorite jobs were a purchaser and a job coach for the mentally handicapped.
He also worked in fine dining in the Rockford area.
He had a wonderfully quick sense of humor and a compassionate heart.

Survived by his parents; sister, Susan Heinen Steeves; niece, Amanda and nephew, Adam;nbsp; aunts, Kay (Alec) Kaplanes,Peggy Heinen and Polly (Gary) Bach; grandparents, Howard (Arleen) Hermance.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Louis and Helen Matalin and Edward and Susie Heinen; uncles, Jerry and Ronald (Marion) Heinen.

Services at 10:00am Saturday, January 12, 2013nbsp;at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 North Rockton Avenue. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
