Terra Lynn Tedder

Terra Lynn Tedder, 67, of Rockford, IL, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born on July 27, 1953 in Herrin, IL to Laurence and Evelyn (Allen) Tedder.

Terra was a graduate of Boylan High School, Class of 1971. She loved music and playing the guitar. Terra was a long-time member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, serving as the head of the Folk Choir for many years. She was a homebody by nature, Terra loved dogs and always had a pet and also enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Terra is survived by her sister, Cynthia (Ron) Ramirez; niece, Emily Ramirez; nephew, Kory (Amanda) Tedder; great niece, Olivia Tedder; cousins, Teresa Jenkins, Roberta Pogue, Amy Croft and Michelle Williams; aunt, Joy Allen; uncle Harry Adamson; Irene, Rene, and Denise Ramirez and dear friend, Mary Kay Spatarro. Predeceased by her parents; grand-parents, Bea and Harry Adamson and aunt and uncle, Ann and Ralph Jenkins.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory – Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue, Rockford, IL, 61103. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Please observe current mask and social distancing guidelines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Terra’s family.
