Teresa Gomez

Teresa Gomez, 70, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born April 6, 1946 in Mexico, the daughter of Francisco & Tita (Sandoval) Gomez. Member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Teresa enjoyed gardening, shopping, especially at flea markets, traveling, cooking, cross words puzzles, watching WWE Raw, crocheting, but most of all loved spending time with her family, going to church and praying the rosary. She was known for being loving and caring.
She is survived by her son Baudelio Flores; daughters, Rosa and Tita Flores; grandchildren, Mariana, Vanessa, Amanda, Carla, Luis and Cruz; great grandchild Reyangel. Predeceased by parents and son Luis Gomez.
Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 3026 11th St, Rockford, IL 61109. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m., with a rosary recited at 3:30 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108, and from 9 a.m. until time of mass Monday at the church.

Teresa Gómez, de 70, de Rockford, falleció miércoles, 19 de octubre de 2016 en el Rockford Memorial Hospital. Nacido el 06 de abril de 1946 en México, la hija de Francisco Gómez y Tita (Sandoval). Miembro de la iglesia católica de St. Edwards. Teresa disfrutaba de jardinería, ir de compras, especialmente en mercados de pulgas, viajar, cocinar, rompecabezas de palabras, viendo WWE Raw, ganchillo, pero sobre todo amaba pasar tiempo con su familia, ir a la iglesia y rezar el Rosario. Ella era conocida por ser amorosa y cuidadosa.
Sus sobrevivientes su hijo Baudelio Flores; hijas, Rosa y Tita Flores; nietos, Mariana, Vanessa, Amanda, Carla, Luis y Cruz; bisnieto Reyangel. Hijo fallesido Luis Gomez.
Misa será el lunes 10:00, 24 de octubre de 2016 en la iglesia católica St. Edwards, 3026 11 St, Rockford, IL 61109. Régimen de visitas será el domingo de 2-4:00, con un Rosario recitado a las 3:30 en Fitzgerald funeraria y crematorio, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108 a las 9:00 -9:45 visitacion en la iglesia 10:00 Misa de cuerpo Presente.
