Tammie Ciciura, departed this world on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, peacefully in her home in Rockford, IL, surrounded by love and family. Born on March 19, 1974, the daughter of Dennis Lee and Linda Jean (Welliver) Noegel. Tammie's spirit was as bright and vibrant as the sun she adored. She radiated warmth and light, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tammie was an artist and a creator always appreciating the natural beauty around her, a constant theme in her art. She enriched the world with her creativity expressing her unique perspectives through words, paintings, and art that was collected by fans all over the world. She wrote and published a children’s book. A devoted yogi and astrological enthusiast, Tammie found guidance in the stars and solace on the mat, embracing life with grace and purpose.
Tammie dedicated herself to sparking curiosity and fostering a love for learning and in the minds of her students at Spectrum School while doing her part to thwart toxic masculinity until her retirement in 2024.
Tammie leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Her devoted husband, Thomas Ciciura, stood alongside her as a partner in life and love. Together, they shared the joys of parenting their two wonderful children, Odessa and Oakley, who brought her immeasurable happiness. Tammie was also the beloved daughter of Dennis and Lala Noegel. She was a cherished daughter, step-daughter, mother, wife, and friend.
Even in her absence, Tammie's unwavering spirit continues to thrive in the hearts of her family, including her cherished furbabies, Honey Bird and Shanti Ciciura. As a dog mom, she treasured the companionship of her furry friends.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during the visitation scheduled for Friday, March 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford IL, 61108. The family will meet at the Mulford Chapel on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. where there will be a procession to North Burritt Cemetery for a scattering of cremated remains.
