Chesnut, 65, was born January 17, 1945 in Dixon to John and Helen Snow.nbsp; She went to be with our Lord on December 2, 2010, after bravely battling cancer.nbsp; She was proud of her work for the phone company and was employed by Dixon Home, Illinois Bell and ATamp;T phone companies over the years.nbsp; She enjoyed 30 years of marriage to Terry Chesnut, whom she wed on November 22, 1980.nbsp;
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry; son, Matthew (Sarah), Rockford; stepchildren, Jolinda (Larry) Bittinger, Polo, Keith (Katie) Chesnut, Polo and Molly (Douglas) Sides, Rockford; siblings, Bill (Marsene) Snow of Oregon and Sherry (Robert) Dimmig of Dixon and their families.nbsp; Also survived by her 8 grandchildren, including her beloved Christina, plus one on the way.nbsp;
Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in St. Edward Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Black officiating.nbsp; Burial in Calvary Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation 5-8 p.m. Monday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:30 p.m.nbsp; Visitation also from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.nbsp; Express condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
