Steven "Steve" T. Anderson

Steven “Steve” T. Anderson, 64, Machesney Park, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born on September 11, 1959, in Vernon, WI, the son of Fred Anderson and Eloda (Stalsberg) Pringey. He married his wife, Renee (Allen) Anderson on September 1, 1984, in Loves Park. Steve graduated from Guilford High School in 1977 and worked at Pointe for several years and Ready Mix for 38 years. He was a great musician, playing with Bare Bones for many years. Steve will be remembered as a loving family man.

Steve is survived by his wife, Renee; his daughters, Kayla (Steve) Winchel, and Katie (Neil Amill) Anderson; his son, Jordan Anderson; his granddaughters, Ellie, Piper, Margot, Taylor, Reese, Willow, and Presley; his nieces and nephews, Carlie, Tanner, Trystan, and Tylor. His numerous great nieces and nephews; his brothers, Micheal Anderson, Tryge (Christine) Anderson, Tabor (Shelley) Anderson, and Gail Anderson; his stepfather, Roger Pringey; he is predeceased by his parents; his stepmother, Lynda Anderson; his brother, Scott Anderson; and his sister-in-law, Carol Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, 61103.
