Stephen B. Personette

Stephen B. ""Steve"" Personette, 60, of Rockford passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born December 21, 1947 in Dixon, Il, the son of Donald and Aileen (Hostetter) Personette. He married Carla Brinkmeier in Pearl City, IL on June 7, 1969. Steve was a member of Alpine Lutheran Church. He loved working in the yard, loved music and John Wayne movies. Steve had a great love for the Rocky Mountains, where he went several times a year with his wife. Steve is survived by his wife Carla, mother Aileen, son Stephen Adam (Ann) Personette and granddaughters Kylie and Kearsten Personette. Brother Michael (Lori) Personette, father-in-law and mother-in-law Faye(Hilma) Brinkmeier. Sister-in-law Donna (Ron) Roeske, brother-in-law Gene (Deb) Brinkmeier, sister-in-law Jan (Mel) Voss and numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his father. Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Alpine Lutheran Church, 5001 Forest Ave., Rockford, IL 61108, with the Rev. Dr. Rick Meier officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service in the church. In lieu of flowers can be made to the family to be determined at a later date. To
