Stephanie Ann Kosobucki

Stephanie Ann Green Kosobucki, 59, of Palos Park, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008, in her home following a sudden illness.  She was born April 24, 1949, in Rockford, the daughter of Dr. Gregory and Mary Lou Schroeder Green.  Stephanie was employed as an X-Ray Tech and CT Scan Tech in the Chicago area.  Former member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.  She was a 1967 graduate of Boylan High School and of St. Anthony School of Radiology Technology.  Stephanie loved animals, especially horses.  She was a very accomplished equestrian. She was a philanthropist to many caused and individuals thru the years. Survived by her mother, Mary Lou Green, Rockford; sisters, Linda Ongena and Mary Linn (Don Ufkin) Green , both of Rockford; nephew, Jim Ongena of Chicago.  Predeceased by her grandmother, Stephanie Schroeder, for whom she was named. Funeral Mass will be 11 AM, Monday, November 3, 2008, in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Av., Rockford, IL 61103.  Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM, Monday, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Av.
