Stanley “Stan” Joseph Krowczyk

Winnebago, IL - Stanley “Stan” Krowczyk, 76, of Winnebago, Illinois passed away surrounded

by his loved ones on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. He was born in Rockford, Illinois on July 2,

1946 and was the son of Bernard S. and Celia (Brodeski) Krowczyk, Sr.

Stan served in Vietnam, and when he returned home, he married his childhood

sweetheart, Susan Pamela Leon,on August 10,1968. Stan and Susan were married for 39

years and raised 2 wonderful daughters. Stan worked at Ingersoll Milling Machine Company in

various positions including Foreman, Project Manager, and Manager of Assembly. He retired at

the age of 55, so that he could spend time with his wife, grandkids, and working in his yard and

on various house projects.

Stanley is survived by his children, Karen (Duff) Krowczyk - Singer of Roscoe, Kristine

(Scott) Krowczyk - Byl of Durand; his grandchildren, Sydney and Gia Singer, Zander and Suzy

Byl; his sister and brother, Bernadette (Dave) Celmer, Joe (Lynn) Krowczyk; his brother-in-law,

Gene Lawver; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Stanley is predeceased by his parents, his loving wife in 2008, his sister Bernice Lawver,

and brother Bernard Krowczyk, Jr.
