Stanley F. Wyrostek

Stanley F. Wyrostek, Jr. 77, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born January 23, 1935, in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Stanley and Amelia Wyrostek, Sr. Stanley was a maintenance man at Elk Grove High School for 17 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Mary's Oratory. Stanley was also a 3 rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Muldoon Council 470, and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. Survived by his loving wife, Rose; brothers, Joseph (Sharon) and Frank (Sharon) Wyrostek; brothersinlaw, Joseph (Connie) Piraino and George (Georgette) Piraino; sistersinlaw, Carol (Bill) Zimmerman, Ann (Ron) Plachy, and Josephine Figuria; several nieces and nephews.Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 am, Friday, December 21, 2012, in St. Mary's Oratory, 517 Elm St. with Reverend Brian A. T. Bovee, officiating. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 4:30 pm followed by a visitation from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 20, 2012, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
