Sondra A. Delaney

Sondra A. DeLaney, 65, Rockford, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, in her home. She was born February 22, 1947, in Arkansas, the daughter of Perry and Katie Hamilton. Sondra worked as a CNA in the Rockford area. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She was famous for her delicious peach cobbler. Sondra especially loved spending time with her grandson, Tucker.Survived by her children, Geli Budnik, Paige Valentino, Eric Foster, and Brent (Brandy) DeLaney; numerous grandchildren; sister, Tonya (Jon) Walton; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her husband, Jerry DeLaney; son, Dare Foster; sister, Rowena Boyette; and brother, Tim Hamilton.Cremation rites have been accorded.
