Shirley Ann Anderson

Shirley Ann Anderson, 80, of Rockford, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born on December 13, 1937, in Louisville, KY, to Walter and Henrietta (Harris) Smith.
Shirley was a loving mother and was happiest when spending time with her family.
She is dearly loved and will be truly missed.
Survivors include her children, Phyllis Johnson, Christie Anderson, and Troy Smith; grandchildren, Roman and Tyler Johnson; sisters, Jane Fletcher, and Dorothy McClure.
She is predeceased by her parents, grandparents, Edward and Mary Etta “Big Momma” Harris.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, with visitation 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford. Interment in Arlington Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
