Sheryl A. Morgan

Sheryl A. Morgan, 54, of Rockford died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born December 4, 1961 in Rockford the daughter of Earl and Doris Traeger and graduated from Harlem High School class of 1979. Married the love of her life, Daniel Morgan on January 10, 1981 at Fisher Chapel, Rockford and together raised two wonderful sons. Sheryl worked for CVS as a Coram for 16 years and was a faithful member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Fr. Matthew Rudden Council 15530. She was a kind and generous woman who would do anything for her family and friends, she will be missed greatly.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Morgan; sons, Danny (Amber) and Drew (Lindsay) Morgan; her cherished grandchildren, Emily, Maci and Miles Morgan; mother, Doris Traeger; sister, Tina Pace; mother-in-law, Maralyn Morgan; sisters-in-law, Mary Strand, Jane Porter, and Barb (Tom) Taylor; brother-in-law, Bill Morgan; nieces and nephews, Chris Strand, Kate (Chad) Hillman), Jessie (Justin) Tabour, Julie Porter, Matt (Kristen) Porter, Justin (Alyssa) Taylor, Kelsey (Jason) Liesen, TJ Wincapaw, David Pace, Ashley Pace, Ricky Traeger and Adam Traeger and her very dear friends, Carol and Roz. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Earl; her brother, Tony and her father-in-law, Jack Morgan.
Funeral Mass Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave. Interment will be held in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave with a Rosary Service to be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation continues on Friday in the funeral home from 8:45 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family for a fund to be established.
