Sharon Elizabeth Lenz

Sharon Elizabeth Lenz, 78, of Rockford, IL died at 8:23am on January 3, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born September 13, 1942 in Freeport, IL daughter of Paul and Frances (Love) Vittorio. She was a 1961 graduate of West High School in Rockford. She worked for Bergner’s for 18 years. A very important part of Sharon’s life was being a longtime volunteer at Rock House Kids. Survived by daughters, Theresa (Barry) Dunt of Swansboro, NC, Sharrie (Dan) Wilcox of Belvidere; sons Fred Lenz (Judy Smith) of Belvidere, Anthony (Theresa) Lenz of Rockford, Kevin (Theresa) Lenz of Loves Park; sister Susan (John) Krier of The Villages, FL and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and son, Paul Michael and sister, Janet Kearns.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 10:00am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 N. 1st Street, Rockford. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Face masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. .
