Selma Ruth Rediger, 84 Rockford Selma Ruth Rediger, 84 of Rockford, died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3:38 p.m. at Provena Cor Mariae in Rockford, IL. Born January 23, 1925 to Charles and Amanda (Kroenke) Grannemann in Hepler, Kansas. Married Henry Rediger on May 30, 1944. He predeceased her on February 14, 1979. Selma was a selfless person putting family above all else. She was a long time employee of JC Pennys. She also enjoyed teaching Sunday school, sewing, crafting and attending family reunions. Survivors; Son, David (Pamela) Rediger, Minneapolis, MN; Daughters, Rebecca (Roger) Spagenske, Minneapolis, MN and Ellen (Robert) Regan of San Cristobal, NM. Daughter-in-law Pam Rediger; Grandchildren, Mark Gustafson, Stacy Gustafson, Elizabeth (Matt) Lewis, Matthew (Kristina) Rediger, Jonathan and Andrea Rediger, Sara (Ryan) Zink and Kiel Templeton; 4 great-grandchildren; Brother, Ben (Clara) Grannemann; sisters Ella (Laverne) Bockelmann, Helen (Victor) Geihsler, Irene (Warren) Schooley and Florence (Gordon) Sutfin. Predeceased by her parents, husband Henry and son Robert Fred Rediger. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory (Mulford Chapel). Visitation will continue at church Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until 10:45. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church 2001 N. Alpine Road, with Rev.
