Scott Rheingans

Scott C. Rheingans, 73, passed away in Madison, Wisconsin on August 17, 2023. Born in Rockford, Illinois son of Jack and Pat (Ramsey) Rheingans. He attended East High School before graduating from Pecatonica High School in 1968. During that time, he enjoyed playing all kinds of sports and was a proud Eagle Scout. Upon graduation he immediately enlisted in the U.S Navy. After he was discharged, he came back to the Rockford area for a short time, before settling in Madison, Wisconsin. He enjoyed volunteering at the V.A. Hospital in Madison for over 20 years, and in his free time he enjoyed filling his life with music.

He is survived by his brothers, Jim (Debbie), Ken (Sue) and Tom (Amy) Rheingans; his nieces and nephews, Jack, Ciel, Jason, Adam (Lauren), Jaqueline and Sam Rheingans; his cousin, Chris (Monica) Ramsey. A very special thank you to his friends in Madison for all the care and support they gave to Scott “George” throughout his life.
