Scott Kotlienthong

Scott Kotlienthong, 40, passed away on January 4, 2022 in Rockford, Illinois. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa on June 10th, 1981 son to Sen and Seng Kotlienthong. Scott was very self-driven, at a young age he found an interest in the mechanics and workings of computers, he taught himself how to do coding, how to build, maintain and fix computers and used that ability to support himself. His other passion was anything that had to do with his nieces and nephews. He adored them, and made a point to be very active in their life. He shared his enjoyment of basketball with his nephew; Scott taught him everything that he knew, got him his first basketball, shoes for the game, and made sure it was a fun activity they could both enjoy. His younger nieces and nephews he made a point to see them whenever he could.
He is survived by those who loved him most, his parents Sen (Sony) and Seng; his siblings Susie Kotlienthong, Salyka (Fiancé Donte Coble), and Tyrone Kotlienthong; beloved nieces and nephews Amaya, Julius, Makaio and Elijah.
