Sarah L. Andrews

Sarah L. Andrews, 79 of Rockford and formerly of Carpentersville, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Born May 7, 1934 in Hopkinsville, KY the daughter of Eunice and Quinny Brown. Worked for many years as a cashier at the Eagle Grocery Store in Carpentersville and when she moved out to Rockford she worked at Logli's. Survivors include her very loving grandchildren, Jackie (Tom) Mattoon, Samantha (Jason) Pickett; Steve Hardy II, Christopher Hardy and Lauryn Hardy; great grandchildren, Paige, Kyle, Adam, Payton, Ryan, Logan, Vanessa, Kaitlyn and Damien. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Imbargia in 2009; her son, Steve Hardy in 2011 ; a grandson, Maun Hardy and her second husband, Tilson Andrews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Chaplain Dean Parker officiating.
