Sarah Kate “Teresa” Armato, 5, of Rockford was placed in the arms of Jesus and her Grandpa Sam on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Born August 9, 2010 at Rockford Memorial Hospital, the beautiful daughter of Carl and Shari (Balzer) Armato. Sarah was a student at St. Bridget Catholic Grade school where she had many friends and was loved by all. Her captivating and constant smile that lit up a room warmed all hearts who were fortunate enough to know her. Sarah’s enchanting charismatic personality brought joy to everybody’s heart. She loved to sing her kindergarten songs, read, and to cuddle and snuggle. Always running on her tippy-toes as if she was reaching up to heaven, sunshine reflected in her blue eyes. She loved to play dress-up and with her Polly Pocket Princess Barbie's. Sarah fielded baseballs for her brother Sam endlessly. She climbed trees with her brother, sisters, and friends with enthusiastic energy. Her sense of fun distinguished her as the playful smiling lover she was. All the expressions of grief and support are appreciated; her absence from our lives and this world is a loss that can’t be put into words, but her life and our memory of her will always remain forever with us. Sarah is survived by her parents, her sisters, Abby, Anna and Molly; her brother, Sam; Paternal grandmother, Marge Armato; Maternal grandparents, Bob and Joyce Balzer; aunts and uncles, Sue Armato, Mary (Mitch) Dally, Mary (Chris) Dausman, Teresa (Steve) Ambrose, Sandi (Jamey) Ware, Kim (Jim) Sardegna, John (Holle) Balzer, Dave (Brea) Balzer and Steve (Kerry) Balzer, 47 cousins, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her grandpa Sam Armato and cousin, Riley Dally.
