Sally Jane Waldsmith

Sally Jane Waldsmith, 75, of Rockford passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 in her home. Born October 9, 1938 in Rockford; daughter of Robert and Loretta (Bowler) Kampmeier. Married Richard Waldsmith on June 23, 1956. Sally worked alongside her husband in their family printing business, R & S Press then later worked for Courier Printing, retiring in 2003. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was an avid fisherman and loved going to Las Vegas to play the slot machines. Sally enjoyed making rosaries for St. Bernadette Catholic Church and most of all loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; son, Michael (Amy) Waldsmith of Roscoe; daughters, Kathi (Allan) Maggio and Linda Waldsmith; 4 grandchildren and her special grandson, Matthew Barton; sisters, Joanne Ballard and Nancy Hecklesmiller.
Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Robert "Bob" and John Kampmeier and 2 brothers-in-law.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Ricardo Hernandez officiating.
