Ryan Truax

Ryan Truax, 35, of Boston, MA, formerly of Rockford, IL passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Ryan was born July 15, 1986 in Rockford, IL the son to Jednice Williams and Thomas Truax. Ryan attended East High School, graduating in 2004. Ryan enjoyed life on his terms and accomplished many of the things he set out do. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. Ryan loved traveling and exploring new places, especially if it had a beach. He also enjoyed photographing his various adventures. His smile and laugh were infectious. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Jednice Williams and Thomas Truax; brothers, Jason (Kristina) Truax, Jeremy Truax and Dominick Williams; grandparents, William Truax, Josephine McCann, James (Shirley) Williams; special cousin, Tiphanie Truax and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his grandmother, Donna Truax and great grandparents, William and Mary Truax.

Celebration of life will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Prairie Street Brewing Co., 200 Prairie Street Rockford, IL. Cremation rites entrusted with Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined.
