Ruth Mower

Ruth C. Mower, 91, of Rockford died at 9:35am, Friday, January 18, 2013, in her home. Born November 24, 1921, in Altoona, PA., the Daughter of Frank and Agnes Schoch. Married Paul Mower on July 10, 1943, in the Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament, Altoona. nbsp;Paul predeceased her in 2009.
She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Survivors include; her children, Paula (John) Lundquist of Tucson, Ariz., Elise Farrell of Oak Lawn, Mary Lou (Robert) Jacob of Chicago, Greg (Kimberly) Mower of Vernon Hills, Gerry (Jim) Bryant of Ashland, Ky., Don (Kathy) Mower of Buffalo Grove, Robert (Mary) Mower of Plainfield and Dennis (Debbie) Mower of Rockford. Also survived by her grandchildren, Chris, Nikki, Jack, Tim, Peter, Charlie, Casey, Mia, Shaun, Amy, Chandra, Abraham, Stacy, Paul, Josie, Cassie, Steven, Christopher, Daniel and Ashley; and greatgrandchildren, Sophia, Ethan, Colin, Charlie, Max, Charlie, Harper and Jackson. Sisters, Geraldine Stevens of Altoona, PA, Delores Fleming of Orland Park and Ann (Robert) Weamer of South Bend, IN.
Predeceased by her parents; Husband Paul, Soninlaws, Charlie Huff and Charlie Farrell and brother, Richard Schoch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, in St. Rita Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Peck officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation also from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials to be established by the family.
