Ruth Mendez, 91, of Rockford, passed away August 16, 2018. Born in Chicago, IL. Employed by Commercial Wire and PA Peterson Home. Survived by son Bruce (Kristie) of Chicago, sister-in-law Miriam Seaholm of Rockford and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, sister and brothers.
Service will be 11 am Friday, August 24, 2018 Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103, with the Rev. Chuck Rife officiating. Visitation from 4-6 pm Thursday, August 23, 2018 and from 10 am until time of service on Friday at Fitzgerald’s. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
