Ruth Mary Lenstrom

Ruth Mary Lenstrom, 72, Rockford, passed away on August 20, 2013 in Rockford, IL.

Ruth was born in Corning Arkansas to Henry and Pauline Brown on August 6, 1941. She married LaVerne Lenstrom in her parents home on September 19, 1959. She was blessed with four beautiful children: Phil Lenstrom, Mark Lenstrom, Paula and Kenneth Loos and Tonya and Andy Brouer. Ruth was also blessed with eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She worked as a kitchen supervisor for the Rockford Rescue Mission for eight years until her retirement.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Andy Brour will officiate. Burial in Kishwaukee Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
